A heavy industrial gun used in the mining, cement and steel industry, used to knock down overhangs in mines and quarries, to break up bridging or stoppages in silos and desist boiler tubes and primarily remove slag build up from rotary kilns.

Heaviest zinc slug available. Recommended for dislodging extra hard rings. Because of zinc’s lower specific gravity, this slug is almost twice the size of the standard lead slug. It provides more penetration, greater “knockdown” power, which can lead to savings due to lower shell usage. Zinc slugs should be used on high-pure silicon furnace tapping to prevent contamination.

Recommended for use in kiln’s of 45 meters length or longer. Delivers maximum striking energy to the clinker ring. Another application is “shooting out the brick”, when the kiln is down for a rebricking operation.
Solid lead slug (1), of the solid lead ammunition, is inserted flush with the cartridge body.
